However, the subtitles seem a little off. Small grammatical issues might not bother most people, but they occur often. Sometimes sentences aren't in the correct tense. Sometimes words are left out inexplicably. I will definitely be buying a retail copy of this movie since I want to see it with a high quality translation in order to understand it better.

They claim to be the proper retail subtitles. I can't confirm this, but I've scanned through the film quickly and they seem to make a hell of a lot more sense than the ones included in this torrent. For example, the included subtitles have a line that say "she is totally sane, physically as well as mentally." Obviously you can't be physically sane, that's just nonsense. The subtitles I've found say "she's perfectly healthy, both mentally and physically." They also have no glaring grammatical errors. So I highly recommend you download these.

Even with the 'incorrect' subtitles (let us not get into a debate about translation or authorial intentionality), this film is brilliant. The quality is there, both in terms of this file and the filmmaking. It's one of the best I've ever seen. (For those who haven't seen it, if you enjoyed Mulholland Drive, Polanski's "Repulsion", or, err, let's say "Black Swan", you should enjoy this.) I'd say it's even a step or two above The Seventh Seal.
